Hello, again.

January 27, 2017 By dionneford 1 Comment

About a year ago, I realized that my blog was broken. I tried to figure out what was wrong with it, but alas, life had given me other priorities. I had a Master of Fine Arts degree to finish, and a thesis project to submit that was different than what I was working on in my graduate writing classes. Then, I got invited to participate in a documentary. So a month before graduation, I headed down to Brazil. Things have been busy.

When I won a Sustainable Arts Foundation award based on my thesis project (and this blog), I decided I’d forget about the do-it-yourself fix. Instead, I used a portion of the grant to pay someone to fix the blog for me. And while she was at it, she revamped my website. (Thank you Ilsa Brink!)

And thank you for visiting the new and improved Finding Josephine.

What have you been up to?

FINDING JOSEPHINE

The search for my family's history began at age twelve when I asked the simple question, "Grandpa, are you white?"
